Stella ‘Hamberlins Charmer’ is a lovely mare who we bought for our daughter just over a year ago and has taken her from competing at 1m to 1m20 in this short time period. She is very chilled and easy to handle on the yard.

Stella has been ridden by small children and is often ridden by novices.

She is never spooky on hacks, anyone can ride her. She even likes hacking bareback.

Although we have mainly showjumped her, we have done quite a bit of cross country recently and she really enjoyed it! We have also taken her out to two low-level unaffiliated events. She has three nice paces on the flat and goes well in a snaffle. In our most recent event she got a 33 dressage.

Although she has competed up to 1m 30 in the past and 1m 20 with us, we feel she is best suited to someone who would like a schoolmaster to help them gain experience and confidence at the lower levels and will have fun doing a bit of everything. Stella is most comfortable competing around 1m/1m 10 however will more than happily jump courses of 1m 20 at home and at arena hires!
