Belgian Warmblood | Bay Gelding | 7 years | 16.3hh / 171cm
Talented 7-year-old gelding by Halifax, out of a Candillo mare, with an excellent competition record and all the ability to continue up the levels.
Hidalgo has been extremely consistent in the ring, with highlights including:
* Qualified for the 7yo Winter Final last year
* Numerous Foxhunter & Newcomers placings
* Previously qualified for Newcomers & Discovery Second Rounds
* 6th in a Hickstead qualifier
* As a 4-year-old, 3rd in the Danish Indoor Championship, with an impressive 13 clears from 15 rounds
He is scopey, brave and careful, with a great attitude to his jumping. Naturally forward, competitive and honest to a fence, with plenty of ability for bigger tracks.
He is a forward ride so would not suit novices. Would suit a competitive teenager coming off ponies, ambitious amateur or professional looking for a quality horse to continue producing.
He could also make a very exciting event horse. He has been cross-country schooling a couple of times and absolutely loved it.
Lovely temperament on the ground and easy to have around. Hacks sensibly alone or in company and is good to shoe, clip, load and travel. No vices.
A genuine and exciting young horse with a proven record and plenty more to come.
