Meet Ruby – a genuine, consistent, and endlessly fun little mare who’s ready to take her next jockey on countless adventures.

At 11.2hh and 9 years old, Ruby is a cracking all-rounder who’s done it all: Pony Club, hunting, show jumping, NSEA, cross country, pony racing, mounted games, hacking – you name it!

Ruby’s CV:

• Pony Club: Multiple camps, Mini ODEs, Triathlons & Tetrathlons
• Show Jumping: Competing confidently between 40–70cm, with scope to go to 80cm
• Cross Country & Arena eventing, always clear and bold
• NSEA: Qualified for Hickstead 2024 in Show Jumping & Dressage
• Ascot Pony Racing 2025
• Hunting: Brilliant little hunter – jumps, able to hop on and off for all the gates, stands politely at the meet
• Hacking: Alone or in company – safe and sensible
• Funrides & Mounted Games

Personality & Manners:

• Forward-going but kind and safe – no tricks or quirks
• Tolerant of novice/bobbly riders, but best suited to a small, confident jockey
• Lives out in a mixed herd on a busy farm – used to dogs, pigs, quad bikes etc.
• Excellent to handle, load, travel, farrier, dentist
• Needs light sedation to clip
• Barefoot, sound, tough, and affectionate – a true child’s pony
• Children do everything with her – she’s a parent's dream!

After 3 wonderful years, Ruby has sadly been outgrown and is ready to teach her next little rider the ropes.

She’s the kind of pony that doesn’t come around often – safe, fun and always in the ribbons.
