Heatwave WSH (Basil) combines some of the best thoroughbred and Irish breeding. He has three correct athletic paces giving him the real wow factor.

His dam has produced exceptional progeny including Kontendro who has won at 3* and completed Blenheim in 2024. His sire Herald III is renowned for the quality of the thoroughbred influence that he adds to top event breeding.

Basil is being sold from the field and has been out of work for 6 months due to owners ill health. He was under saddle for about 3 months earlier in the year and has been produced slowly and with longevity in mind. He is bold, careful and assesses his fences and has been taken xc schooling popping a variety of small fences including going over ditches, up and down steps and through water.

He does weave but this has never been an issue. Basil will come back under saddle in the new year when he will be advertised for significantly more.
