Meet Odin – a beautifully put-together 7-year-old Cremello cob gelding standing at 13hh. Recently backed and just starting his ridden journey, Odin is a kind, intelligent little horse with loads of potential for someone looking for a fun and rewarding project.
Freshly backed and working quietly under saddle
Green but a quick learner – eager to please and picks things up quickly
Lovely on the ground – easy to do in all ways

• Picks up all four feet without fuss
• Stands quietly to be groomed, tacked up, and handled
Loads well, and is great for the farrier, dentist, and vet
Up to date with worming, teeth, and feet
Friendly temperament – loves fuss and attention

Happy to live in or out – settles well in a stable and also enjoys turnout
Things that still need work:
• Hacking: Odin hasn’t done much hacking yet, so he’ll need time, confidence-building, and a calm rider or companion horse to help him gain trust and experience.
• Schooling: He is still learning the basics and would benefit from consistent, patient schooling to develop balance, rhythm, and suppleness.
With the right work and education, Odin could easily become a brilliant child’s pony – he has the temperament and attitude to really shine in a loving, experienced home.
He’s not suitable for a complete novice just yet, but he’s an ideal project for a confident teen, small adult, or knowledgeable home looking to bring on a young cob with excellent foundations and a lovely nature.
