Bentley is a stunning 16.1hh, 8-year-old, grey ISH. Fit and ready to go out and have fun as an all-rounder or would make a fantastic dressage prospect. He’s done a bit of everything and thoroughly enjoys his work.

Sadly, looking for new home after 4 years due to teenage rider losing interest.

Bentley is safe and sensible, forward but not strong. He has a fantastic work ethic and is always looking to please. He’s established on the flat in all three paces and his lateral work is coming along nicely. He has smart natural movement and is flashy enough to do pure dressage, consistently scoring high 60’s at prelim and starting to establish himself at novice, he would go a lot further up the levels in the dressage arena.

He will turn his hoof to anything asked of him and has previously evented up to 90 with a young teenager. In 2024 he was part of the 80cm junior BRC National horse trials winning team at Swalcliffe Park and he also competed for Penistone Riding club at the BD Team Quest National dressage Championships at Arena UK with the team finishing overall 5th.

He loves jumping cross country and is not fazed by fillers or ditches and has proven to be brave and have plenty of scope, regularly attending camps and clinics at Somerford Farm Park, Epworth and Kelsall to name a few.
He’s competed at unaffiliated show jumping and proven to have a good turn of speed when needed. He’s attended plenty of farm rides, beach rides and has hunted.

He hacks out alone or in company and is safe and good with all types of traffic.
He’s good to handle on the ground, stands nicely for clipping, dentist, plaiting, bathing, farrier etc. Turns out alone or in mixed herds. Perfect to load and travels well.
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming, physio, farrier.

He would suit a variety of homes – from a competitive young rider, an adult looking to produce him further or a mother-daughter share. No novices please as although safe he is a competition horse and I would love to see him progress his career further.
