Bertie is a true gentleman on the ground and an absolute cuddle machine who loves attention and pampering.

Under saddle, Bertie previously evented at Novice level so is well schooled and experienced. He is a forward-going ride who loves variety but is looking to step down into a lower level competition/riding club role.

Not suitable for a novice – Bertie is strong and knows his job, so he needs a confident and experienced rider (currently ridden by an experienced teenager).

Hacks alone or in company, no vices, travels brilliantly and good for vet, farrier etc
Has stringhalt, but this does not affect his ridden work.

Must go to a 5* home only where he’ll be loved and appreciated.

He’s currently based in Saffron Walden, would like to stay within 1.5 hours of Ipswich.
