Blake has been with us for 3 fantastic years taking my daughter from jumping 40 to 70 cm courses. He steps up and down the gears to suit the rider. At camp this year he was the pony all the others wanted to swap onto and have a go on!
He is fantastic to catch, load, clip, shoe etc. Good in traffic.
He has never been sick or sorry.
A genuine fun and safe pony, always comes home with a rosette in any type of competition he's entered in including: ridden showing, working hunter, show jumping, arena eventing and Cross Country. Been to stay away shows, pony club camp. He's unfazed by new environments whether a stable in an american barn or electric fence pony lines he's taken it all in his stride.
Will stay tied up to the box all day/stand on the lorry and will happily mow the grass, munch on hay or fall asleep until needed!
Goes first or last when hacking, he will plod around the lanes on the buckle or go cantering through the woods jumping logs and trees.
Slots into any position in pony club rides but often used as lead carrot for other ponies in rallies/ camp.
Hunted with previous owners
Achievements:
Arena Eventing National champs at Eland Lodge: 2nd in 60cm and 4th in 70cm classes. (He has a lovely even paced smooth canter)
Qualified for South West show jumping championships at 60 and 70 cm
Qualified Sunshine tour 60 and 70cm
Won best Pony Club pony (twice)at our pony club show.
Won best all round pony award
Won Area Tetrathlon (Tadpole 60cm class) he went clear for 1400 points and left his rider to focus on the other 3 disciplines!
A very sad sale as only reason we're not keeping him is his rider wants to progress in tetrathlon/eventing and is looking to move onto 80/90 cm courses.
5* home a must, this is a very sad sale.
