Moana, as she is known at home, is a rising two-year-old filly by For Real out of a Kennedy x Bustron mare.

For Real won the Westphalian Championships in Münster-Handorf and was also unbeatable at the German Championships in Warendorf, achieving the same dream scores. Ridden by his trainer, Leonie Richter, he was awarded the maximum score of 10 for his outstanding willingness to perform. He received 9.5 for his immaculate conformation, 9.0 for the energy and elasticity in trot and canter, and 9.5 for his perfect rhythm in walk. With an overall score of 9.2, For Real was clearly ahead of the competition, which continued at his stallion performance test in Denmark.

Moana herself is a loving and sweet mare who’s easy to handle both in and out of the stable, currently enjoying her summer months out in the herd. She is very well put together with a well-set neck of good length; she has strong limbs and good feet.

Her paces speak for themselves — her walk is active with a good rhythm and overtrack; she has great swing in the trot with lovely cadence, and her canter is powerful and uphill with good ground cover.
