Don Detonate is a homebred two year old gelding by Don Dante a Grand Prix dressage horse with stock on the ground since 2014 proving his progeny are level headed and hold longevity.

He is out of our full Irish draught mare, Sweet White Clover to add a jump to him as well as creating a better allrounder of a horse rather than completely dressage focused.

He is bred to turn his hoof to anything and succeed. He has already shown his level headedness and trainability.

Norman is good to load and travel, he has travelled in a lorry on a number of occasions and loads like a dream. He’s also travelled on a trailer as a yearling a number of times with no issue. He is great for the farrier for his trims

And is currently turned out with other geldings with mares over the fence with no issue, he is in at night and out in the day

He was recently taken to the futurity as his first outing. He was easy to handle at the event but was a little overwhelmed - understandably, so he didn’t perform as well as he could have in the evaluation, resulting him being graded Silver with a score of 7.9.

His vetting score was a 8.5 and a 9. The vet really liked him and how solid his build is.

Judges gave comments like: “ neck has a strong underline, well developed” “shows rhythm in trot” “uphill and shows gears in canter”
