Archie is a truly lovely horse with a kind, genuine nature. Safe, sensible, and an absolute pleasure in all ways — he hacks alone or in company and is beautifully schooled on the flat.

He has previously competed successfully up to 1.10m, including placing 8th at the HOYS Bronze League Final in 2022. The ultimate Bronze League contender, Archie is also more than capable of turning his hoof to a smart dressage test or being a reliable, all-round family horse.

I bought him two years ago following the retirement of my heart horse. Unfortunately, due to family commitments (including pregnancy just six months after buying him), we never had the opportunity to really get going together competitively - through absolutely no fault of his own.

He is trustworthy, consistent, and incredibly adaptable. I rode him confidently up to seven months pregnant, and he’s the sort who can have time off and slot straight back into work like he never missed a day. Just as happy working every day as he is enjoying a quieter routine.

This is a very difficult decision, and Archie will only be sold to the very best of homes.
