Je T’aime Flamenco is a former winner of seven of the world’s major Grands Prix & a stallion who has performed consistently through the grades.
Je T’aime Flamenco’s rise to fame started early. As a 6yr old, under Billy Twomey, he was 3rd in the 6yr old Championships at the Horse of The Year Show, and 2nd in an International 6yo championship in Mauberge. Winning the GP at HOYS at only 8 years old, it was obvious that he was going to have a glittering competition career. Among his accolades, were seven international Grand Prix wins, three at five-star level. Je T’aime Flamenco rapidly became a star among Billy’s string of horses.
His rider Billy Twomey described him as a “clear round machine”.
Awarded the BWP Ambassador accolade, Je T’aime Flamenco is known for his exceptional reliability of producing top-class stock.
His sire, Flamenco De Semilly, is from one of the strongest stallion lines, Le Tot De Semilly, who won or placed in 22 International classes. He was part of the Gold Medal winning team and the European Young Riders Championship in Millstreet, Ireland. Le Tot De Semilly is the sire of Diamant De Semilly, Itot Du Chateau, Item De Quintin, Ideal De Prissey, and Fetiche du Pas, to name but a few. From his early breeding seasons, we have offspring competing Grand Prix such as Molly Ashi’s Vicomte D, Gregory Wathlett’s Willem, Wonder Boy and Je T’aime Flamenco. His dam, Quansie Van De Halhoeve, won at 1.50m level in Belgium. Her sire is Landetto, by Landgraf, who is by Lady Killer, giving the dam a great jumping bloodline. Landetto’s offspring include Undercover Agent and Utah Van Epicon, whilst Landgraf’s include Burggraaf and Libero. Uniquely through his dam’s bloodline. Je Taime Flamenco’s looks, temperament and ability make him an ideal choice for any breeder, intent on producing a world class jumping horse for the future.
Je T’aime Flamenco’s offspring include Ballypatrick Flamenco – Irish National Show Jumping Champions 2020 & 2021. J’adore Flamenco – winner of Scope 4 yo British Championship, Arena UK 4 yo Final & Northcote 4yo Final. Sold at the Goresbridge “Go For Gold” Sale for €130,000 to Beezie Madden. Kimba Flamenco – CSI5* ridden by Billy Twomey, 1.60m. Quick J’aime – CCI3* ridden by Laura Varty. J’adore Salsa – CCI4* ridden by Tyler Cassells. Je T’aime Aramis- CSIYH1* 1.35m and Roma V – CSI4* 1.50m, ridden by Alison Barton.
The Lammy Factor has jumped up to 1.35 with many wins. Great results qualifying for Blue Chip, Nationals etc.
