Helsington Dark Desire aka (Harley) is a very smart 14.1 11 year old British riding pony.

Harley is a stunning pony with a lovable and cheeky personality. He's great fun to hang out with, easy to handle and is definitely a family favourite!

Harley is my first pony and he's taught me an unbelievable amount, taking me from being a complete novice at 11 years old to where I am now at 15 years old starting out on my eventing career. I've out grown him and, as tough as it is (really tough), I love him too much to retire him so young as he really loves his job so I'm actually quite excited to find him the right partner who'll be lucky enough to enjoy learning to ride and having as much fun as we have. Harley has given me heaps of confidence and I believe he will do the same for his next partner. Harley is safe out hacking and great fun, he regularly hacks on his own or big groups not batting an eyelid at either. He is unbothered by tractors, cars ect.

Harley and I have had great fun achieving all our goals at eventing which involves all three disciplines. He has lots of beautiful paces on the flat and excels in dressage regularly scoring 68%-71.5% competent at prelim and novice dressage, we believe at a dressage focused home he'll progress even more, he'll also do a great job at teaching someone the ropes on the flat. Harley confidently jumps 85cm at home with me and my 10 year old cousin who is just starting with jumping and he's doing a great job teaching her, he loves small riders. He's great out on farm rides and XC schooling ect. As his rider gains confidence so does he.

Harley looks super smart! and regularly gets compliments whenever he's out and about mainly due to his excellent breeding record with showing in his bloodline which includes his well known sire 'Helsington Dark Secret' giving him the right attributes to be a very competitive pony in the show ring.

-multiple top ten placings at 70-80 cm ode
-lots of podiums and wins out show jumping
-placed or won many dressage competitions
-competitor at the national hunter trial championship.

Harley is really good for other riders such as friends and family of all abilities from competent event riders to kids who have never even sat on a horse before. He doesn't mind being led around with little children on him and is super chill like that.

We're really looking for an experienced home with a committed young rider who's maybe 8-10 years old looking to progress and provide a forever home for Harley.

He will load on to both trailers and lorries, he is great for the farrier, vet etc. Not a fan of his face being clipped or worming so needs re assurance for these.
