Perfect for an ambitious amateur, Briarwood Dragonfly is a bold and friendly filly with talent and temperament to burn.

Born on 2nd June 2025 and to exceed 16.2hh, Saffy is by the stunning Dimaggio grandson Camlough Delphi and out of Elite Petrushka (Pascal x Ramires). Dimaggio was a stallion that combined the great Donnerhall and World Cup I, and is a proven producer of Grand Prix dressage horses.

Elite Petrushka’s first foal Briarwood Wild Beauty (by Woodlander Wavavoom) was Novice Regional Champion in 2018 and competed in the Area Festivals at Elementary and Medium before being put in foal for 2022. She has since returned to competition at Medium level and is also starting a para dressage career. Petrushka's 2018 foal Briarwood Revolution (by Rotspon), was a licensed stallion and her 2023 gelding by Lestingdale was the highest scoring yearling at the BEF Futurity 2024.

Saffy has inherited the best of both of her parents and we are so excited for her to find someone to accompany her on her dressage journey. She has exceptional paces, being uphill and showing natural cadence. Handled regularly, she is confident and friendly, and very easy to do in all aspects.
