Elvis is the ultimate gentleman, a calm easy-going horse who loves human company and is a pleasure to have around.

He came to us a rising 5 year old 2 ½ years ago and has since been brought on slowly by my teenage daughter experiencing the variety that Pony Club, Riding Club and the local Hunt have had to offer.

He absolutely loves his hunting, a fantastic confidence giver. He is extremely bold over any type of fence but equally happy to stand around waiting when necessary.

His flatwork is really coming on and he can produce a lovely dressage test, show jumping though is where he really excels. He has been competing at 90/100cm up to now but has huge potential and scope to go bigger/affiliate. His most recent outing was to the Riding Club Champs in Lincoln on 31st August where he produced a lovely double clear to be placed 6th in a class of over 90 competitors.

In the spirit of full disclosure we must point out that unfortunately he has recently proved reluctant to be out on a XC course by himself so an eventing career is not really a viable option for him at the moment. However the fact remains that solid fences are not an issue for him so Show Cross/Arena Eventing is also something where he excels and really enjoys himself.

His stable manners are impeccable and he has no vices, he is good to box, shoe, clip and catch. Will hack out alone or in company in the heaviest of traffic.

Very sad sale due to rider going off to University. He will leave a big hole in our family and we are keen to find the right home for him.
