• Stitch – Homebred Youngster with a Bright Future

Stitch is a homebred gelding, out of our own homebred mare by Carnival Drum. He has a lovely temperament and is easy to handle, with naturally straight, uphill movement that shows real promise.
Currently standing around a fine compacted 16.1hh

He has been produced slowly and correctly. He is working in walk, trot, and canter on the long lines, both in the school and out in the field, as well as under saddle.

Stitch has hacked out around our farm tracks and down quiet lanes, taking everything in his stride—including wildlife, cyclists, joggers, and cows!

Stitch has only been lightly backed and has been sat on approximately six times. He lives out but happily comes away from his field companions to be ridden or handled without fuss.

Despite having not ridden in four years due to having two children and undergoing two surgeries, I’ve backed Stitch myself, and he has been an absolute delight to work with.

He has the temperament, ability, and movement to excel in a variety of disciplines.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth, etc.
