It is with great sadness that we offer our beautiful mare, Dizzy, to the very best of homes. Owned by us for the past 3 years, home bred prior, she has been an absolute pleasure in every respect — a true partner both on the ground and under saddle.

This year qualified second rounds of Newcomers, Members, Fox and the 1.25m championship. At one point holding 8th position in the Silver League for West Midlands.

Dizzy is an absolute dream to handle, with the most willing nature you could hope to find. She is safe, steady, and a joy to hack — the type you can truly relax with. Her affectionate, laid-back temperament makes her an ideal horse to enjoy day-to-day, while still offering all the sparkle when it matters most.

Don’t be fooled by her quiet manner — Dizzy transforms in the ring. While not the flashiest at first glance, she has an extraordinary amount of talent and heart, often surprising as the “underdog” who finds herself consistently in the placings. Passported at 16.2 hands but not full to height she is often one of the smallest in the Foxhunter, something she always uses to her advantage. She has scope, bravery, and a genuine desire to please — everything you need in a competitive partner. A horse with both experience and untapped potential, Dizzy offers her rider the chance to achieve at a high level while enjoying every step of the journey.

Originally ridden by my teenage daughter up to Newcomers she brought a lot of joy and helped make many memories. However, recently she has been ridden by my older son who had previous success in ponies but has not ridden for 16 years. Together they have flourished as a team both in competitions and now jumping 1.40m in training.

The only reason for this heartbreaking sale is that my daughter has now left for university. This special mare deserves a rider who will prioritise her, enjoy her, and give her the attention and opportunities she thrives on. She is a kind, generous soul and we are absolutely committed to ensuring she finds a loving, knowledgeable 5* home where she will continue to shine.
