Jazz is beautiful stamp of a horse. She is a competitive showjumping mare who already has quite a lot of experience in the sport, jumping up to 1.10m as a 5 year old in Ireland. We bought Jazz to see if we could push her down the eventing route however she is just not in love with the dressage! Although she has top 10 placings at BE100 and jumped clear showjumping up to BE105, she won’t cope with the tougher dressage tests she would be bound to come across as she stepped up through the levels.

Showjumping is truly her game and she loves it. She is as brave as a lion, never stopped at a show jump, will always help you out of a difficult stride. Jazz is a careful jumper but is also quite feisty with a winning mentality! She is the type of horse that you just point and leave her to it, that’s how she prefers it. She has immense power off the floor and scope over a fence. Jazz would easily jump up to 1.20m with the right jockey, if not higher. A real contender for the bronze league.

Jazz is quite a buzzy and feisty ride, for this reason we feel she would be best suited to a competitive younger rider wanting to be fast, win and have fun! All homes/riders will be carefully looked at. We want to see this mare progress in the right hands.

Jazz is the daughter of prolific jumping sire, Clarimo who jumped successfully up to 1.60m Grand Prix. His thoroughbred ancestors really bring out the blood in a lot of his progeny. Her dam line is also littered with very good jumping stallions such as Nimmerdor and Voltaire.

Jazz is easy to deal with in all ways. To shoe, load, clip, turnout and at shows. She’s immaculately behaved in warm ups and on the lorry. A really easy mare to take out and about. She’s been to stay away shows and training and settles very easily. Jazz is a very good doer. Never sick or sorry. She is a very strong independent women! Not particularly interested in fuss but not nasty to people in any way. She is genuinely one of the easiest horses we have had in the yard.
