A genuine kind all rounder/hunter- An old head on young shoulders!

This horse is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard, with the kindest nature.

He is snaffle mouthed at all times and happily hacks alone or in company. He is good in traffic, including busy roads, farm machinery, and livestock (& a Labrador following)!

He has been out on Fun Rides, hound exercise, arena hires and has hunted, always taking everything in his stride with a calm, level head.

Unfazed by new surroundings, he is well accustomed to going out and about. He has attended several arena hires for small courses of show jumps, cross-country schooling, and basic flatwork lessons.

He has previously crossed trappy hunt country in Ireland and jumps whatever is asked of him – rails, hunt jumps, ditches, and hedges. He hunted with a couple of local packs in Devon last season, stands politely at the meet, and is always respectful in the field and good with hounds. He could easily go into hunt service or make a superb Master’s horse.

Always laid-back yet willing, he approaches everything with a sensible attitude despite his age.

Fit, in work, and ready to be loved and enjoyed, he will bring his new owner great amounts of pleasure.

He would suit a competent novice. Big enough to be a gentleman’s hunter, yet genuine enough to be a lady’s hunter or versatile all-rounder.

Good to load, catch, shoe, clip, and handle. Travels happily in a lorry or trailer.
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, and back.

He was originally purchased from Ireland by a professional sales yard who produces and professionally educates horses.
He has a clean vet certificate from last year available.

This is a very hard and sad sale due to personal circumstances. He was bought with the intention of being my forever horse to replace my older one.
