Meet Joey, a striking young Connemara with superb breeding, talent, and temperament. At just five years old, he’s already proving himself as a true allrounder – hunting, dressage, showjumping, cross-country, and hacking.

Imported from Ireland as a 3 year old, Joey has been carefully produced and is a pleasure in every way: genuine, uncomplicated, and versatile. He has been ridden and hunted by his owner, he is great with hounds and will stand quietly at the meet.
He is equally happy out in company or alone riding across open moorland or in busy lanes with farm traffic. Always snaffle mouthed.

On the flat, Joey has three correct, balanced paces, naturally works in an outline, and has already achieved 67–68% in his dressage outings, placing 2nd and 3rd. He shows clear potential for higher marks as he develops further.

Over fences, Joey is bold, careful, and scopey, with correct technique and natural ability, helped by his excellent grade A jumping lines. He isn’t spooky with fillers and takes everything in his stride.

With impeccable manners, Joey is straightforward to handle: good to clip, shoe (N//N HWSD), load, travel, and with other horses and hounds. He is clean limbed and eye catching - would be very successful in the show ring.
