Maverick is a lovely TB who was unfortunately mis sold to me as a novice safe first horse. He is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider. He needs a confident, experienced handler, ideally someone familiar with ex-racehorse, who can give him consistency, time, and clear direction.

Raced once in 2021, now looking for the right experienced home

Up to date with physio, dentist, vaccinations and farrier (recent saddle fitting also done).

Points to note:

Loading needs work. He has had a bad experience in a lorry which has completely knocked his confidence.

Would suit a confident, experienced rider looking for a horse to bring on as thier own.


This is a very hard sale for me. I feel like I’ve let him down, but I don’t want to keep him in the wrong home. For that reason, homes will be vetted and he will only go to the right person who understands what he needs, so that he isn’t passed on again.
