Son of Tillie stable name Hyland Tom is a Connemara Cross, dam is Tillie Trotter who is a coloured pony while the sire is a Connemara stallion called Knockferry cheeky boots. He is a 5 yr old, grey who is forward going, He has successfully competed combined training, unaffiliated one day events, Stepping Stones to Success at Wexford Equestrian center. He is a super smart pony that will do everything! He will Hunt, Event, dressage Working Hunter , Show, or hack. A true allrounder!
He a delight to ride on the flat, he has established three nice rhythmic quality paces and has a good understanding of lateral work. He can leg yield easily, gets the right leg easily in canter and will not need strong legs, you usually only have to think and he gets it. Has had dressage scores of 28 and 26. He has a lovely jump and eager to please. he has jumped up to 1m and with plenty of scope to go further. He has had placings and won unaffiliated eventing and working hunters and was Champion over all working hunter of the show at Limerick harriers hunt show.
He hacks alone ( may look at things) but hes good alone or in company, a dream to load! Plait, mane and tail. Good to shoe and handle, catch , clip.
Son of Tillie has been ridden and hunted by a nervous 14 year old rider and gave her great confidence on the hunting field, always ridden in a snaffle with very little contact needed as he is very sensitive yet forward going, he is as brave as a lion and will take on any jump in the hunting field and does not need a lead he has been hunted both at the front in the middle and at the back picking up hounds, he can get impatient waiting to jump the ditch or drain while out hunting but simply talking to him and walking around or standing on a loose rein normally works.

He was also hunted lightly during this winter and left off during the spring of 2024 to mature and grow.

Kilbride working hunter league ridden by a 14 yr old girl 90cm working hunter, jumped clear but just missed on a placing

Munster Arena Eventing league at Hillcrest height 90 cm 2nd
Munster Arena Eventing league at Kilquilkey height 1 m clear jumping and xc just missed out on a placing
he also hunted during this time with either myself or with a nervous rider.
