JJ is a loving character who really excels in SJ and XC.

We have had JJ since May 24 and thoroughly enjoyed having him, however my daughter has finished A levels and about to start working full time so we must cut down on numbers

With us JJ has hunted a couple of times where he quickly learned what was expected of him.

JJ excels In SJ and we have enjoyed taking him to lots of unaffiliated classes, competitively jumping 80, 90 and 1m classes winning lots of rosettes and he’s recently jumped in a couple of British novice classes on a ticket
He has zero BS points so is eligible for all novice classes

He has taken part in some arena Eventing training, XC schooling and jumped round some cross country courses. He’s good with ditches, going through water, skinnies etc

JJ has a bouncy way of going with a soft mouth. He suited my daughter as the step in between ponies and horses. he isn’t a novice ride as he enjoys jumping and can be excitable

He is good to catch, shoe, box and clip, however it did take him a little while to settle with us and at the beginning he needed some patience and time spending with him. When he arrived we saw him weaving when he was left in the stables alone. This disappeared after a couple of weeks but is reflected in the price.

He turns out with mares or geldings, travels alone or with a friend, we have a trailer. He is very quiet to handle at shows and stands quietly by himself. He hacks mainly on his own, due to our circumstances, but is also good in company.
