This is a very difficult advert to write, as I am incredibly attached to this fantastic little mare.

Doris has been with me since she was a 3-year-old, and I’ve had the pleasure of producing her carefully and correctly every step of the way. She is now a wonderfully reliable and trustworthy grassroots eventer, as well as a true all-rounder who gives her all in everything she does.

She has a brilliant, trainable attitude and is a genuine, competitive contender in any discipline. Whether eventing, hunting, or schooling, Doris always tries her heart out and gives her rider a confident, enjoyable ride.

She’s a star on the cross-country course and absolutely loves her job – bold, honest, and brave without ever being silly. She’s also an absolute pleasure to take hunting, always mannerly yet full of enthusiasm.

Doris is straightforward in every way – easy to hack alone or in company, great to load, clip, shoe, and handle in all respects.

She would make a dream horse for a capable young rider looking to gain experience, or an amateur wanting a fun, confidence-giving partner to get out and enjoy.

As you can tell, Doris means a great deal to me, and I will only let her go to the very best home. She truly deserves it.
