Milo is an eye-catching 15.1hh 12 year old ISH gelding (no recorded breeding) looking for a home with an experienced rider & he would be brilliant for a confident older teenager to have fun on!

Milo was professionally schooled and broken and was in his previous home for 7 years where he was a mother-daughter share who has hunted, been on pleasure rides, XC schooling etc. He loves jumping!

Milo's a clever forward-thinking horse who would thrive on a yard where he is in regular, varied work. He has been well schooled in the past and appreciates a quiet rider with light hands. Milo is bombproof in traffic but is spooky at leaves etc. With consistent work this does improve. We have hacked him in company and he was very good, we've not tried him out alone.

Milo is sadly for sale as we just aren't the right home for him; he's too forward and spooky for my other half and I don't have the time to keep him in work. We are happy hackers now and he needs a busier home than ours. This summer an older teenager was riding him, she loved him and he really enjoyed working for her. She moved away with work so Milo is being sold from the field as he will need bringing back into work; he has only been out of work for 2 months so this won't take too much to do.

Milo is easy to shoe, clip, load etc. He's currently barefoot but was shod previously and is perfect for the farrier. He's very sweet-natured and offers his head when you put his headcollar and bridle on. In his previous home he lived on his own so he can be kept as an only horse, with us he is turned out with other geldings.

He has no health issues and is up to date with his vaccinations. Tack is available by separate negotiation.

Milo's only vices are that he is a spooky horse, and we have found he can be food aggressive when hayed in the field with more than 1 other horse in the paddock.
