Sparky is the ultimate top level amateur’s competition horse. He is incredibly sweet natured, loves his work, and has been with his breeder all his life until now. He has competed successfully all over Ireland in multiple disciplines, including winning the National Riding Club Championships, Working Hunter, Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping.

A genuine competitive allrounder. Sparky moves well and has been consistently placed in dressage competitions. He has showjumped up to 1.10m I feel he has plenty of scope, bravery, and a heart for much bigger tracks and will be a super Bronze/Silver league competitor. He is ultra reliable, never stops, and will jump from any stride.

Still eligible for British Novice classes, he is a fun and competitive horse who will quickly progress through the levels. Sparky takes you to the fence, giving his rider confidence that he will always get them from start to finish. He is clever, careful, and always looks after both himself and his rider.

He would suit a rider coming off 148s looking for a competitive, experienced horse without the expense of a big budget purchase, with potential to compete successfully up to 1.30m or in young rider classes.

Sparky is a cross country machine, brave as a lion and willing to jump anything asked of him. He has previously evented in Ireland and takes everything in his stride, jumping ditches, hedges, skinnies, water etc.

He has a classical, balanced way of going with a quality athletic jump, making him equally suited as a hunter/jumper type for export to the USA.

Sparky has hunted in Ireland and once here in the UK recently. He would suit being up front, ideally as a Master’s or Whip’s horse, as he happily rides away from the field. He hacks alone or in company, has seen all types of traffic, and is not spooky.

He has clean legs, good feet, and no stable vices. A fun, forward thinking, experienced horse with low mileage and can be left for days without riding and not get fresh.

Good to shoe, box, clip, and with the dentist. He can be cheeky to catch, but will happily put himself in his stable when the gate is left open.

Novices need not apply he is a competition horse with an engine.
