Birdie is a lovely, quality stamp of a mare. Professionally backed earlier this year, she’s schooling nicely on the flat with three good, balanced paces and pops a small fence sweetly.

She’s brave and independent, very happy hacking both alone and in company, and has seen all types of traffic. Ridden in a snaffle, she’s a quick learner but still green (as expected for her age). Birdie has recently been out hunting where she behaved well, jumped a post-and-rail, and even shut a few gates.

She can have the occasional buck, so isn’t suitable for a novice, but she’s genuine and tries to please. Easy to do on the ground, good to shoe, load, and handle.
