6yo 16.2h gelding by Chagall out of a Quite Capitol X Cassini Mare.
I have owned him since June 2025 but sadly he just hasn't turned out to be my "type" of horse. In that I mean that I prefer a forward buzzy type, and he is just very laidback and requires a good amount of leg! That being said, I am a small build so perhaps a man or someone with stronger legs might not find this an issue at all, and be able to get the best out of him.
Relatively low mileage as he is quite a bit horse so has been given time to grow, but has competed a few times (up to 1m, always double clear) and has hunted with his previous owner. Has also done many arena hires with him.
To jump, he is very clever and quick with his feet - he very very rarely knocks a pole! Bold to everything - water trays, scary fillers etc. He doesn't take offence if you put him on a bad stride either, and takes you to a jump nicely. Has a big powerful jump and will do the big classes with the right rider - who just sadly is not me!
Perfect to hack with company, has gone up the gallops, and is good in traffic, however I have given up hacking him alone - he is very very looky and it is a lot of start and stop and look, and repeat. He will go with encouragement but so for the sake of selling, he is being advertised as "does not hack alone"
Generally quite a looky/spooky sort (although for some reason when you start to jump, that part of him switches off and you could point him at anything and he will go!)
A typical affectionate noisy in your face gelding! Very easy to do - lives in or out (but does prefer in when the weather is bad), good for farrier.
Up to date with physio, vaccines, worming etc
To note : His left hind limb is deviated outwards slightly compared to his right. This has never been a problem, has never been lame, and passed a 5 stage vetting when I bought him, so is negative to flexion, sound on a hard lunge, etc. He also has very mild KS (xrays available to serious buyer) which we have medicated once - this is reflected in his price
