Kalypso – 5-year-old 14.2hh Palomino Connemara Mare. Bred in Ireland.

Kind, safe and sensible mare looking for a knowledgeable home to continue her education. Professionally produced, slowly and correctly.

She is a gentle, patient and friendly type and with a real ‘old fashioned’ sensible temperament – making her a pleasure to have on the yard.

She is currently hunting with the Hamilton Bloodhounds, where she’s showing herself to be bold, brave and reliable across country. She’s also show jumping confidently around 80cm and works beautifully on the flat, with rhythm and balance well beyond her years. Unfazed by anything going on around her or asked of her.

Kalypso has a laid-back, genuine nature and has coped beautifully with beginners riding her. She enjoys her work, learns quickly, and takes new experiences in her stride.

She would be ideal for a competent teen or small adult wanting a talented all-rounder to produce further within a kind, experienced home.

This is a genuine, quality young mare with a bright future ahead — she’d excel in Pony Club, Riding Club or as a family all-rounder.
