Barney is a truly eye-catching horse with three expressive, uphill paces and a huge amount of natural scope. He’s a lovely, quality type who turns heads wherever he goes.
An absolute gentleman in every way, Barney is easy to handle, affectionate, and a joy to have on the yard. He’s bold, genuine and incredibly straightforward to a fence, always aiming to please.
While we believe Barney has all the ingredients to excel as a competition horse, he has also proven himself to be exceptional out hunting. He hunted in Ireland and has been out twice with the Cattistock Hunt since being with me, where he behaved impeccably on both occasions.
