Troy is a truly impressive horse with the talent, temperament, and presence to excel with the right rider. A superb mover who could easily pursue pure dressage, having been trained to Elementary level, while also possessing masses of scope to shine as a top Bronze/Silver League competition horse.

Despite his size, he’s a complete gentle giant on the ground – friendly, mannerly and a real pleasure to handle. Under saddle, he is not a novice ride. Troy requires a confident, experienced rider who can harness his power and ability; with the right partnership, this horse could go on to achieve big things.

Schooling & Work Status
Troy has been out of work since February through no fault of his own, so he is currently building strength and fitness. Back in work for the past 3 weeks, he’s proving willing, intelligent, and enjoyable. After a fence he may offer a cheeky bronc, but this is never nasty and improves as his fitness returns.
