Looking for a horse for the top of the sport? Look no further, one of the most talented and genuine young horses we’ve seen in a long time! With some serious breeding his mother was a prolific winning mare on the national & international circuit up to 5* 1m50 level with winnings in excess of £160,000 and by the very fashionable sire Nixon again himself breeding numerous horses at the top of the showjumping world!
Spud was produced and started by small lady riders, given a very professional and correct education he rides perfectly in a simple snaffle and has a great mouth. Never strong, sharp or silly and a very genuine kind outlook on life. Can be left a couple of days off and jumped straight on, intelligent and athletic through his body with scope to burn! Very well established auto flying changes, great length of stride and very bold and brave. Showing a lot of potential over coloured fences, not phased by fillers and always improving! Ready to start his competitive career and an ideal candidate for international young horse classes next year.
He is a complete gentleman to handle, no stable vices and loves attention and a fuss he would be a real pampered pet for someone! Great to load, travel, shoe, wash etc he is incredibly kind and has the attitude that you would want in any young horse. He’s also been cross country schooling and proved to be very promising and easy!
Recent full set of good X rays taken including back! He has a small scar on a left hind from a field accident as a young horse which doesn’t affect him in anyway, very sound and correct will pass any vet or inspection. Very sad sale but being completely overstocked we are forced to advertise him, we can’t wait to watch his progress next year.
