Rosetta is an absolutely gorgeous 15.1h 6 year (rising 7) year old Welsh part bred dapple grey mare. For sale on behalf of her owner.

Rosetta is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. She is a very pretty striking dapple grey who catches the eye where ever she goes. She has such a kind eye and is so appealing to everyone she meets. She is the perfect stamp with a nice depth of girth so easily takes a taller rider. She is an ideal size for teens coming off ponies as well as adults so would make a brilliant mother/ daughter share too. She is a very desirable type and size and really is the full package. Very much like a Connemara in type and the all-round job she can do. She has good conformation, straight movement and is blemish free. She would excel in showing as she is very correct in looks and way of going. She is the perfect fun alrounder who excels across all disciplines with a real “can do” attitude.

Rosetta has three super smart paces and works nicely on the flat. She works correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. She is nice and light in the contact and always ridden in a snaffle. She is on the steady side of medium to ride so does need some leg in the school but this makes you feel safe. She has good transitions and works in a lovely consistent rhythm. She is also very well balanced and naturally talented on the flat so has a lot of potential to excel in dressage. She would do a cracking preliminary test now and would soon move through the BD levels with her super rideability combined with her willing temperament. She has done lots of arena hires and some have a go dressage with a competent 12 year old previously. She would be the ideal second horse for someone with some all- round experience but you haven’t got to be an amazing rider as she is straight forward I just wouldn’t want her to go to a complete novice as she deserves more than this.

Rosetta loves her jumping and makes a lovely shape over a fence. She nicely takes you into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. She doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. She is very bold and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. She is very rideable around a course of jumps and maintains a regular rhythm. She has been jumping around 90cm courses with ease. She is a very much point and aim type who helps her rider out and juts loves to jump. She has been attending arena hires, training shows and has done some pony club jumping also. She is very good to ride at new places. She is ready to take out to some jumping competitions now.

She has also been xc schooling where she was super and jumped a range of jumps including going through the water happily. She has also jumped some arena eventing jumps on a surface which she flew over. She would be very suitable to do some arena eventing with over the winter and then do some eventing with the aim of the Cotsworld cup over the summer as she is good at all three disciplines.

Rosetta is lovely to hack both alone and in company. She has done more hacking in company either in pairs or in large groups, she’s very chilled and juts goes with the flow in a sensible manner. She is very good in traffic including lorries and motor bikes. She is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order. She has been on pleasure rides which she loves and is so much fun. She would be very well suited to someone wanting to combine pleasure rides with competing, or equally just one or the other.

Rosetta has a superb kind temperament. She loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend. She is very quiet and calm to handle and can easily be handled by children. She loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. She is a delight to handle in all ways, great to bath and shoe. She does require some sedalin or sedation to clip, this would be the worst thing about her. She lives in and out and is happily turns out with mares and geldings. She is very quiet in the field and gets on well with all horses and ponies. She loads well and travels like a dream. She really is such a genuine honest horse who deserves the best of homes. Someone is going to be very lucky to own Rosetta.

Rosetta would be very suitable for a teenager coming off ponies and adults alike. She would make a fabulous allrounder as she has bags of talent across all disciplines. She would also suit a home wanting to do all pony/riding club activities and hacking/ pleasure rides. She would also suit a home to do some dressage or show jumping and eventing competitively.
