Much-loved Connemara mare available for loan. I’ve had her since I was 15, and she truly taught me the ropes. As I’m abroad now, she’s looking for a quieter, more relaxed life with someone who will enjoy everything she has to offer.

She’s a pleasure to hack - safe and sensible in traffic, happy to go alone or in company, not spooky, and enjoys a canter while coming back easily when asked. She is well schooled, has competed at low-level dressage, and will happily pop small fences up to around 70cm. She knows her job and really shines with a rider who can press the right buttons.

This mare has a fantastic zest for life and a big personality. She can be a little bossy (as mares often are!) on the ground, so she needs a competent, kind rider/handler. She doesn’t respond well to heavy-handedness but is willing, genuine, and always keen to please. She loves her work and is an absolute delight to ride.

She would suit someone looking to enjoy hacking, low-level all-round activities, or a sensible mother/daughter share. Lightweight rider only (maximum 10 stone).

She must remain at her current yard.
