An incredibly sad sale of a lovely 15.1, black, welsh D X, gelding as i don’t have enough time to put in the work needed for him to excel in show jumping. Beau is a super kind horse with a lovely temperament and always a pleasure to work with.

He has 3 balanced paces and has a super smooth canter but is not a novice ride. He is forward and can be strong and excitable. He can be unsure of new people and may take a while to settle but once he does he is super kind and always good on the ground. He has began his showjumping journey with me 10 months ago and has improved massively popping 60-70cm confidently but is not confident in new environments so can be tricky when out and about.

He would become a lovely show jumper if the time was spent on taking him out more to gain experience and has been to Pony club camp which he took to super well. He can run-out when he doesn’t understand the question or gets nervous. He has done a bit of showing and has placed well.

•1st 153 show hunter BSPS area 1a.
•Winter champs 3rd novice 153 SHP, 2nd restricted.

He does have sensitive back but with regular physio it causes him no harm. Hacks alone or in company and will go at the front or back. Beau is barefoot, lives in or out, but can be difficult to catch on occasion. He doesn’t rear or buck but can be spooky. He is such a nice horse to have around the yard and is going to be missed. Up to date with vaccines, dentist etc.

Passed a 5 stage vetting 10 months ago. Will only go to the perfect home.
