Mare preferred
Forward going with a good jump
Needs to be able to hack out alone or in company
Must be good with the farrier and load well
ISH/warmblood type preferred, not cobby

What I can offer:
20 years experience owning horses
A 5 star home at a quiet, rural livery yard
Miles and miles of off road hacking
Yard owners live on site
I’m only 8 mins drive away
I’m a quiet, patient rider who believes in positive reinforcement and doing things at the horse’s pace
I’m in Stirlingshire but open to travelling for the right horse

My current horse is a 23 year old mare, who’s been retired for around 3 years now on account of age-related medical issues. She’s living her best happy, quiet, lazy life and will always stay with me. As such, I’m looking for my next long-term partner who I can grow with.

Happy to take on a bit of a project, whether it’s a bit green, been out of work, needs schooling or education or just a bit of time and patience. I don’t need a finished, perfect article, more than happy to put the work into a horse with good potential to get me back out into novice/newcomers in time. Being able to hack out is a must.
