Max is a smart, genuine young horse with a bright future ahead. Currently competing in showjumping, he has recently been schooled comfortably around courses of 1.10–1.15m, showing excellent technique, scope, and carefulness. He has also been cross-country schooling, where he has shown plenty of promise, and has been out hunting, taking everything in his stride.

He has an easy-going, kind temperament and is forward-going without being hot, making him a pleasure to ride. Max is good to hack alone or in company and is sensible in traffic. He is straightforward to manage and is good to shoe, clip, load, and travel.
