Diego is our Homebred, so it makes this decision even harder!!

Diego has been very slowly produced, having 3 lovely comfortable gaits, I could ride him all day long.

Diego has had a gentle work lifestyle throughout his younger years to allow him to grow without the pressure of being over worked as a young horse, so his body has been allowed to develop correctly.

Diego has done a small handful of shows here and there including a recent dressage show. He has participated in clinics, camps, fun rides, arena hires, XC hire last year.

I haven’t always had time to put into him in the fact to get him out, however I was never concerned as he was young, now he really needs to start getting out their to build his confidence within himself.

The only reason why I’m selling him, is because I’ve got married and moved away with my husband, being in the military we will be moving around.

For 6 months throughout the winter he has been on loan to a young less confident young adult, where she has done mainly low key schooling and hacking.

Diego is a very talented young man, he is like his mother and is very consistent within his movement, therefore would do well in the dressage ring, make a fabulous eventer which he is bred for, or even abit of everything.

I’d just love someone to enjoy him and love him, he is very kind and gentle, he would never ever hurt you, he has a big heart and wears it on his sleeve.

The type of rider I’d be looking for, is a kind, sympathetic experienced rider, as although Diego is safe he can be a bit anxious at times and can look for quiet reassurance from his rider to hold his hand.

The only thing I’d say about Diego, is sometimes if he is worried he will stop to process something he isn’t sure of, if you don’t allow him this little moment to process it and say it’s ok, then he may go up, but if you just give him a moment he always goes forward, this is why he needs an experienced rider, he generally always goes past things, it’s just 5% he might need you to say it’s ok!! My mother who is experienced but not so confident would always ride him despite anytime off. She always feels completely safe and trusts him 100%, my younger sister who rode him at from the age of 11. He would never ever do anything to unseat his rider. He always trys to please!

Up to date with all vaccinations, teeth, and always have regular Mctimony and physio sessions as a standard treatment.
