An exciting young Welsh Section A gelding with a very bright future ahead. Calvin is a rising four-year-old with excellent breeding and the correct stamp for a top-class lead rein prospect for 2026 and beyond.

By Thistledown Lord of the Flies out of Rhydyfelin Star Jewel, he boasts fantastic bloodlines and is a quality, clean-limbed pony with a straight, flashy way of going and plenty of presence.

Calvin has a lovely temperament and is a genuine blank canvas, ready for someone to put their own stamp on him.

He is easy to handle, enjoys attention, and is good for the farrier, bathing, handling, turning in and out, and having his feet picked up. He is straightforward to have around the yard, turns out happily either alone or with others, and has no vices.

He was gelded in November 2025 and has been produced slowly and sensibly. He has been bitted and worn a bridle, leads up and trots in hand well, has been on the walker, and has been loose schooled. He has not been over-handled, which leaves him in an excellent position to now be taken on, ridden away, and started properly by his next home.

A very smart dapple grey with two equal hind white socks, Calvin is an eye-catching pony with quality and presence to match his breeding.
