Only for sale as her owner is sadly retiring from hunting and therefore riding.

Don't be put off by her size or breeding - she is very light on her feet and has touch controls to ride!

We have known her since she was a yearling, we broke her in and we have had her on full livery since she was 5, bought for an elder client to go hunting. I taught her to pull a cart and drove her away from our wedding. He has had regular lessons on Vicky in the school.

She is completely bombproof, everyone has ridden her and I would put my Grandad on her if I could get him up there! She loves hounds and lives to hunt, she crosses all ditch country and all timber. She will go anywhere you ask, no gap is too small. Open and close gates. Would easily lead a pony. Sit on a hill and watch all day or follow hounds. Been ridden by an elderly gentleman on a Saturday with the Cottesmore and Fernie. Hunted and ridden by all my girls who are all petite and light weight. Her current job has been hunting however, she wouldn’t be bored in a hacking home (has often been ridden by beginners) and similarly would do a lovely dressage test if you wanted her to. She has done many fun rides.

She does have sweet itch but it is managed with botanical wash, cattle pour on and the occasional dectomax jab when she looks more itchy, she wouldn’t cope turned out full time in the summer but is very easy to do and happily stands in by herself. She currently lives in a crew yard with the sheep. I can disclose all history.
Needs sedation to clip from her knee down but can do all other areas without a headcollar on.

She is a truly fabulous mare that I completely adore, she is part of the family, and is well known on the hunting field with a tonne of references.

Home more important than price and she will only go to the very best of homes.
