A beautiful young PRE gelding with a fantastic, trainable temperament. Forward thinking without being sharp, snaffle mouthed and exceptionally level headed for his age.

Imported from Spain as a 2yo and he has had one home in the UK. Sad sale due to unfortunately not making the height required.

• Walk, trot and canter established in the school
•Flashy paces, beautiful classic PRE movement
• Willing attitude in the school with basic transitions. Although young, he is showing good balance, steering and straightness for his age.
• Hacks alone and in company. Absolutely foot perfect in company. He’s a good boy and is safe to hack alone but he does occasionally have baby moments as is to be expected for his age!
• Excellent in all types of traffic
• Good in open spaces
• Comes back nicely after a canter when out hacking and remains sensible.
• Has seen main roads, moorland, fields and tracks, farm and commercial traffic.
• Introduced to a small fence on the lunge and is proving to be willing and brave, he has not yet been jumped under saddle due to his age.

Moose has primarily been hacked to build his strength and confidence, so he is a lovely blank canvas for someone to put their own stamp on.

He is a total yard favourite and although he is the yard baby, he is my go-to “safe ride”. He’s friendly, inquisitive and absolutely loves fuss and attention. Easy to handle in all ways- well mannered with a very sensible brain and an old head on young shoulders. Easy, drama-free horse to have on the yard.

I’d honestly trust anyone on his back- he has been hacked out by my friend’s novice husband and remained beautifully calm and mannerly. He’s like a puppy around your child or your grandma.

• Good to load, travel, handle, tie up, trim, bath, tack up etc.

I’ve not really got anything bad to say about moose but in the interest of maintaining full transparency, he does kick the stable door at feed time. This is purely attention seeking and causes no issues.

He would suit someone wanting a kind young horse to produce for riding club, dressage, working equitation, pleasure riding or general allrounder duties. He has the temperament and attitude to go on in any sphere. Not for a novice home purely due to his age but he is an absolute saint and is going to make a fantastic horse.
