A bit about Clover: 14years old Welsh A, approx 11.2hh, owned for two and a half years. Has taken my daughter from just getting off lead rein to completely independent. Has done lots of hacking around the farm (probably her strongest suit), Pony Club camp x 2, rallies, local shows and lessons.
She jumps up to 40/50 (we’ve not asked her to do more) . She is a sensitive little mare and would suit a lead rein or else she needs a confident but sympathetic jockey. She is never sick or sorry, lives on fresh air, currently living out in a mixed herd but she does feel the cold if it is wet and would probably prefer to come in at night in the winter!
She is good to clip, for farrier and vet (has only ever needed vaccs and teeth doing!) and loads and travels brilliantly. She is barefoot and up to date with vaccs, worming, teeth and comes with tack and rugs. She is comfortable will all farm machinery and a variety of animals! Snaffle mouthed and never strong or taken off.
Has a perianal melanoma that has changed minimally since we got her. She is a sweet pony and does not do to much wrong but like most ponies when kids are learning to ride and not doing to much on top she is capable of doing the odd small spook. She will teaches the child to kick and tell them to get on with it! She does not do anything dangerous or determined.
She has been with only 3 families since she was 3yrs old, so not been passed around. Very calm in the stable and field, not worried about being on her own.
