I'm not quite sure where to start. This pony is a super little horse with a wonderful character, always making us laugh and getting up to something.
We have owned him for 4 years in August and loved every second of him. Unfortunately he is still quite green due through no fault of his own, totally down to us having too many ponies at one time. He is now out and about and enjoying himself and proving to be very bold and brave showjumping, flying round 80 courses with huge potential to go much higher showing this the fitter he gets. We would love to see him go to a BS home and we believe he will qualify easily for the Blue Chip championships and go up the heights with the right rider.
The only reason we are not progressing his competitive showjumping career ourselves is due to my daughter now being out of ponies.
He hacks confidently in company but a little tense alone, although will go with a confident rider just need more consistency, he doesn't nap, just calls.
Being a typical Connie he can be a little quirky. In high winds he is a little fresh to bring in, he can put in a little buck on the end of the lead rein but never pulls just gets fresh.
Can put in a buck out hacking if at the back in canter but never ever done this at the front or in the middle.
Likes to put in cheeky buck again never nasty when jumping and getting excited, never unseated myself (not a confident rider) or my daughter who was 12 when we purchased him.
He has cribbed a few times when tied up to our tie rails without hay but never in the stable or paddock.
Dressage this little pony has potential to go very far. His first test with us last year he got a score of 68.2 and behaved impeccably at a new venue and in an indoor arena.
Good to catch (like a dog), clip. Good with farrier, dentist, vet and to load on and travel on a trailer. We are working on loading him on our 3.5 tonne box.
He is only available to lease to a perfect experienced local home at £30 per week. Happy for him to go within Suffolk, Norfolk or Essex areas.
