16hh | 5yo | Bay Thoroughbred | Ex-Racehorse Barney is a genuine, golden-natured young Thoroughbred with a fantastic attitude to work. He loves his jumping and shows real scope and enthusiasm, popping fences with ease and a great technique.
He has been to away arenas, popping a course and never says no! He is a pleasure to hack, happy alone or in company and very reliable in traffic. On the flat he schools well, offering three balanced paces, and will continue to strengthen and improve with further correct work.
Perfect to lead babies on the gallops and also to be a quiet horse and just be there to keep another company Barney is very much a woah more than go type and is sensible and straightforward, although things he finds he loves more than others where he will pick up his enthusiasm even though still very well behaved, but due to his age and background he is not a novice ride. He would be ideally suited to a competent rider looking for a quality young horse to produce
