This lovely mare is the sweetest, kindest type both on the ground and under saddle — a genuine pleasure to have on the yard and a firm favourite with everyone who meets her. Since being with us, she has been out hunting a handful of times and behaved impeccably throughout. She stood quietly at the lorry, was mannerly at the meet and proved perfectly settled with hounds. Never hot, strong or silly, she has a wonderfully level head and takes everything in her stride.

On the flat, she is nicely schooled with three balanced paces and a willing, trainable attitude. She will happily pop a course of show jumps and absolutely loves her cross country, proving bold and confident without becoming strong. In a previous home, she also competed in dressage, giving her a solid all-round education.

Hacking is where she really shines. Ridden in a snaffle at all times, she will go alone or in company, first or last. She has nannied many of our young horses out hacking and when schooling cross country, highlighting just how genuine and trustworthy she is. Sensible in traffic and easy in open spaces, she is very much an anyone’s ride.

There are absolutely no stable vices, and she is good to clip, catch, load, travel and shoe. An uncomplicated, versatile mare ready to slot straight into a new home and enjoy a varied life.
