Handsome, kind, sensitive soul with perfect manners and easy to do, a real yard favourite.

Billy has mainly been used for hacking and light schooling, originally from a hunting background he has demonstrated that he is willing and quick to learn new skills and his schooling is progressing well. He’s a responsive, comfortable ride with good paces.

Billy has such a kind nature, it’s one of his greatest assets, he’s wonderful to be around.

Billy needs a kind, confident rider, he’s not the bravest and takes his confidence from his rider. In the right hands he’s a lovely hack and once settled into a new home will hack out in company or alone, just needs time to build trust and gain the confidence. He’s a fun horse who likes to try new things, just needs a calm supportive rider to show him the way.

Billy has arthritis in his hocks, he is on a straight-forward, affordable treatment plan which has kept him sound for many years. Keeping him in work is a big part of keeping him sound, so he needs a home where he’ll be ridden regularly. Price reflects this existing condition.

Travels well, happy being clipped and shod, good with the vet. Up to date on vaccinations.
