By the outstanding Valverde, out of a Belissimo M mare, Rico offers a pedigree associated with rideability, elasticity, and trainability — making him an attractive prospect for a competitive dressage home.

Rico is a compact horse with a naturally uphill frame and eye-catching movement. He shows excellent balance for his age, with a particularly expressive trot and a powerful, active hind leg. He has a bold, friendly character and is genuine in his work — not spooky or sharp — making him enjoyable to produce.

He has been carefully started and is currently working well on the flat with:
• Correct basic schooling
• Pole work
• Hacking out confidently

Rico is very trainable with a willing attitude and is showing all the right qualities to develop up the levels. He will start attending shows this spring, if not sold beforehand.

The option is available for Rico to remain with us to professionally produce, if required.
