16.3hh Spanish Gelding – 6 Years Old – Dressage Prospect

Handsome 16.3hh Spanish gelding, born 9th March 2020, thoughtfully and slowly produced to allow him time to mature both physically and mentally.

He is a big lad for a Spanish horse with presence and movement that would make him a lovely dressage prospect in the right hands. He is a sensitive soul and would suit a balanced, sympathetic rider who enjoys producing a horse and building a partnership.

He has a kind and affectionate nature on the ground — truly like a big lovable dog. Excellent to load, clip, shoe and handle, and genuinely easy in daily management (a toddler could lead him around). He hacks happily alone or in company.

Under saddle he can be initially worried and nervous mainly with his transitions with new riders, so please do not expect to arrive and ride a polished prelim test. The foundations are there, and he always tries his best, but he will benefit from a knowledgeable home willing to give him time and confidence.

I have owned him for 18 months, and this is a genuinely sad sale. Jumping is my passion and sadly it will never be his, and I feel he deserves the opportunity to go to someone who enjoys the type of work he will excel at.

This is a lovely horse who deserves a knowledgeable home where he can continue to develop.
