Vinnie; 14.2hh Bay Gelding

Vinnie is a striking 14.2hh bay gelding with a big personality and plenty of engine. Very well bred, originally from the Netherlands. Not a novice ride, he is a forward, powerful pony who needs a confident, capable rider, so please no beginners.

Out hacking, Vinnie is a pleasure. He will happily go alone or in company and is sensible in open spaces. He is unfazed by farm machinery, trucks, bikes, dogs, and general busy environments.

On the ground, he has excellent manners, easy to catch, comes to call, good to groom, tack up, load and feet.

Vinnie is fast and forward jumping, he has scope and has jumped up to Foxhunter classes. We brought him back to flatwork to work on balance or rhythm

He was originally purchased with HOYS ambitions in mind, but we are not going to get there by next year, he is now looking for his next rider to continue his journey.

Vinnie would suit a jockey whose after something with a bit of spark. He’s the loveliest pony.
