A truly eye-catching chestnut mare with a beautiful temperament both on the ground and under saddle. Rexy is the kind of horse that turns heads wherever she goes, combining elegance with a kind, genuine nature.

Having transitioned seamlessly from her racing career, Rexy has adapted wonderfully to a quieter riding lifestyle. She remains eligible for ROR, having been in training and raced, she’s come back after a year of being in a lovely home her previous owner simply felt that her particular yard was just not right for her and thrives in a busier environment with more to do. However this has given her the time to fill out and mature so she is ready for her next job and career

Rexy is an absolute pleasure to handle, gentle, kind, and incredibly easy in all respects. Under saddle, she is responsive, willing, and eager to please, showing all the attributes of a quality all-rounder or competition prospect.

She is working nicely on the flat with three balanced, correct paces and has her basic dressage education. Rexy thoroughly enjoys her jumping, bold, careful, and incredibly genuine. She has been to arena hires, confidently popping around courses with fillers, and proved exceptionally professional on her very first outing, jumping everything asked of her without touching a pole.

She hacks happily both alone and in company, content to lead or follow. She is extremely level-headed and is bombproof in heavy traffic, confidently crossing A roads with no fuss.

Rexy has also been out hunting with multiple riders and has been nothing short of a pleasure, sensible, not strong or silly, and always looking after her rider. On her first day out, she was so relaxed and mannerly she was ridden one-handed after the first canter, she really is that straightforward.

She is good to load, shoe, and clip, and gets on well with other horses.

A very bold, fun, and genuine mare with a lovely brain, she would make a fantastic all-rounder or eventing prospect. She would suit an ambitious amateur or a competent teenager looking to produce a quality horse.
